Who are we?
Experience Ameland was born out of a deep love for the island, nature and the people who make it so special. For us, Ameland is more than just a holiday destination. For us, it is the place to live, connect and enjoy life.
Experience Ameland consists of an enthusiastic team of islanders. They have been involved in tourism, island life and activities on beautiful Ameland for many years. Our strength lies in our local knowledge, sustainable vision and close cooperation with other island entrepreneurs and initiatives.
What we do
Experience Ameland is an online booking site with more than 150 accommodations on Ameland, but we always go the extra mile! We like to take care of our guests and think along with them. That is why we are easily accessible by email and telephone every day of the year. This way, you will be helped as well and as quickly as possible, and we work to create the ultimate island experience for our guests!
We also help accommodation owners by taking over the rental of their holiday homes completely. We understand better than anyone that renting out accommodation involves more than just making bookings. By handing over the rental process to us, these accommodation owners have more time for other things, such as work and their children.
Connected across the islands
Experience Ameland is part of a bigger picture. Together with On-Ameland and the Waddenreisburo, we form a network of platforms committed to providing an authentic and responsible Wadden Sea experience.
We are also closely connected to the other Frisian Wadden Islands, because together we form Beleef de Wadden. This is our umbrella platform where we bring together holiday accommodations and experiences from Vlieland, Terschelling, Ameland and Schiermonnikoog.
Through this collaboration, we offer a total experience that goes beyond just a holiday. We connect you with the island, its inhabitants and the finest accommodations in the Wadden Sea!
